Equipment Transporter
The Situation
Middle school band programs have a lot of instruments. It is a big effort to move their equipment from band halls to theater stages, ball games, and other performance venues.
The Creation
This custom equipment transport creation makes it easier to move a large amount of equipment with a limited number of resources. The unit has handles and a rope to guide and to steer it. When not in use, it can be up righted vertically to create a “storage hanger” in tight spaces. The project also included the painting and logo artwork in the school colors.
Band Hall Shelving
The Situation
The story of every band hall facility – too many instruments and not enough elbow room! This precious real estate is under competition between those that need the area for practicing and those that need it for storage.
The Creation
This custom shelving creation optimized the wall space for instrument storage. At the same time, floor space remained so that the areas doubled as functional practice rooms.
